It uses a surprisingly low amount of CPU and RAM, and has a good response time. MakeMKV carries out a conversion task pretty fast and without errors, delivering quality video.

When it comes to program preferences, you can modify the minimum title length (in seconds), set the read retry count and buffer size (MB), choose another UI language, enable UPnP, as well as log debug messages, among others. It is possible to establish the output directory, and select individual DVD chapters, in order to proceed with the conversion job in a straightforward manner. Once it finishes, you can check out the interface, which is made from a regular window with simple layout, where you can select a DVD drive from a drop-down list, or use a file browser to locate DVD video, Blu-ray, HD-DVD, ISO or MKV files. The setup procedure is rapid and uneventful, and it doesn’t require special input from the user. It does not integrate too many settings, so it can be used even by less experienced individuals. I don't recall having to do this with my last drive which was a wh 14NS30 or something from 2014, for the version of meek MKV that I was using for a very long time version 1.12.x.MakeMKV is a small but effective application that facilitates video conversion from DVD movies and other file types to the MKV format. But if I remove the second Blu-ray disc close the app, reopen the app, insert the disk, everything works fine. I'll get errors on that second Blu-ray disc. Meaning if I rip a Blu-ray disc, and then when it's done I keep the software running and insert a second Blu-ray disc.

seems like the stability of this software version is not very good anymore? Unless it's a combination of the software in my drive? I'm using make MKV version 1.15.x that I downloaded about a month ago. It rips Blu-ray and 4K just fine, generally speaking. I recently upgraded to a WH16NS40 drive and flashed WH16NS60 1.02MK firmware. I guess I'll post here since I don't really post on the makeMKV site.
